Organizational Neutrality and Restraint Statement

ASSP is committed to advancing worker safety, health and well-being. Our primary mission is to support policies and services that empower EHS professionals to protect people, property and the environment.

To achieve this mission, we strive always to maintain our position as an honest broker and trusted advisor. As such, we aim to provide a neutral forum where members can freely express their diverse perspectives. Based on this approach, ASSP will not take a stand on many societal, political or legal issues. We will limit official communications to areas directly related to achieving our mission and vision.

By adhering to this policy of restraint, we will foster an inclusive environment where all members feel welcome and where we will remain a trusted source. This neutrality does not diminish our commitment to important mission-related issues, but rather enables ASSP to focus on our core purpose and engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.

Board Update Reports

Following each meeting of our Board of Directors, we post a Board Update that captures the group's strategic and operational discussions, decisions and actions, as well as the anticipated outcomes of those activities. These reports are posted in the members-only online ASSP Community.
