About ASSP’s Annual Leadership Conference

We now offer a year-round Leadership Conference experience. Through a series of webinars and virtual events, we provide expanded opportunities for ASSP volunteers to connect and learn from our community of leaders. Get to know your fellow volunteer leaders and grow your leadership and team-building skills so you can be successful within ASSP and on the job.

Upcoming Leadership Conference Sessions

Registration for all 2023-24 Leadership Conference sessions is free and open to leaders of our chapter, common interest and practice specialty member communities, as well as other ASSP leaders. 

We now offer a year-round Leadership Conference experience. Thursday, October 17, 2024: Leadership Conference Virtual Event – This full-day event will feature education and networking opportunities, focused on community operations and member engagement.

Virtual Leadership Conference Agenda

The Leadership Conference agenda features sessions on a wide range of topics which will help attendees develop skills and gain new insights on topics including navigating the chapter presidency, PS and CIG webinar planning, succession planning, and other community best practices. The conference will also feature networking activities, to encourage ASSP leaders to connect with peers and enhance their conference experience.

More than 200 volunteer leaders joined us in August to start the new term. This 1-hour session featured updates from the Board of Directors and ASSP staff, as well as information and instructions on what to expect in the coming year.

Amy Tolbert

Amy Tolbert is a distinguished faculty member at Carlson Executive Education. She is the founder and principal ECCO (Energizing Cultural Change in Organizations) International, a global firm that specializes in creating inclusive workplace cultures. She focuses on global communication skill development, communicating and managing across styles, and inclusive leadership skills. Tolbert has written several books, many articles, assessment tools and blog posts, and developed several global and inclusive online learning courses. She approaches all her work (and life) from a lens of curiosity.
