Time is Short to Beat Rate Increase for Safety 2024 in Denver

Jun 03, 2024

PARK RIDGE, IL — Time is short for workplace safety and health professionals to beat a rate increase for the Safety 2024 Professional Development Conference and Exposition in Denver. The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) offers the regular rate for its signature event only through June 13.

Safety 2024 is a dynamic learning and networking experience that highlights best practices, industry trends and the latest product innovations in occupational safety and health. Continuing education sessions are considered the heart of the conference, providing practical information that safety professionals can immediately put to use at their organizations.

The one-hour sessions are presented by safety experts with real-world experience. Topics include risk management, workplace violence, artificial intelligence, safety and health management systems, infectious disease exposure, heat stress, ergonomic assessments, emergency preparedness, prevention through design, fall protection, and the safety aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion.

An expansive expo is expected to be the Society’s largest ever. Hundreds of companies will showcase the latest personal protective equipment, product innovations and professional services that can advance worker safety and health in all industries.

Thousands of safety and health professionals from around the world look to ASSP’s annual conference — now in its 63rd year — to advance their careers and take advantage of networking opportunities that can help elevate safety at their companies. Attendees will also be inspired, entertained and informed by popular general sessions.

“Registrations are climbing and we’re on track to beat our attendance record set last year in San Antonio,” said ASSP President Jim Thornton, CSP, CIH, FASSP, FAIHA. “Many of the pre-conference courses and Mile High Mixer social event will likely sell out, so now’s the time to secure your spot if you haven’t already.”

Safety professionals can earn 1.5 continuing education units (CEUs) for career advancement. Register online to get the regular rate through June 13. Groups from the same company can save even more by contacting ASSP’s Nancy O’Toole at 847.768.3466 or notoole@assp.org. ASSP also offers an expo-only pass.
