With her extensive experience as a non-profit leader, consultant and coach, Vicki Clark helps leaders seek out the opportunity in times of transition. Vicki believes that when decisions are made that recognize the people you are trying to serve with honor and integrity, good things happen.
During the keynote presentation on Oct. 1 as part of ASSP's 2020 virtual
Leadership Conference, she will share how the tenets of servant leadership can help leaders build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Clark has extensive experience as a speaker, trainer, facilitator, mentor and thought leader. Her mission is to help build the capacity of organizations and individuals through a hands-on and intuitive blend of consulting, coaching and tough love. She strives to help organizations take an active approach to inclusion and dismantling oppression.
During a speech in July 2020 for the Texas Bar Association, Clark said that in today's environment, “we all have to think of different ways to lead." This means prioritizing people over procedure, which she said requires checking in with members, letting go of any programs that are unrealistic at this time and involving new people who may have previously been excluded.
