Bonnie Stanage, CPEA, of Matheson Tri-Gas Inc., professional member of our New Mexico Chapter and member of our Management Practice Specialty, was recognized by the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) with the Charles H. Glasier Safety Award.
Presented annually to an individual in recognition of his/her safety leadership in the industrial gas industry, the award is given in memory of Charles H. Glasier, former CGA chair, who was a leader in the industry and strong supporter of safety. According to CGA, Stanage is the first woman in the organization’s history to receive the award.
CGA is dedicated to the development and promotion of safety standards and safe practices in the industrial and medical gas industry. CGA develops technical specifications, safety standards, and training and educational materials, and works with government agencies to formulate and promote compliance with responsible regulations and standards.
“We’re proud to pay tribute to our members through this awards program,” says CGA’s Rich Gottwald. “The dedication to safety exhibited by the companies and individuals recognized through these awards makes our industry safer for everyone—from employees of our member companies to end users who come into contact with our members’ products.”
