The OSH community recently lost a dear friend and advocate. John E. Hodges, a former BCSP board president and professional member of ASSP’s
Gold Coast Chapter, passed away Oct. 4, 2018. Hodges’s career spanned 45 years in the construction industry, with experience in all phases of safety management, accident cost control, loss prevention, safety education and implementation of company, federal and state safety regulations.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the John E. Hodges “Thumbs Up” Scholarship fund with the
ASSP Foundation, which was established by
BCSP to honor his contributions to the OSH profession.
