Scott DeBow, CSP, ARM, Principal of Health, Safety & Environment, Avetta
Scott DeBow has more than 19 years of progressive leadership in risk management and occupational safety. He aligns people, teams and industry resources within the joint-employer community, emphasizing critical risk mitigation, particularly serious injuries and fatalities. His unique perspective as a safety professional in nontraditional work settings drives his focus on system improvements for safer environments and his belief in the transformative power of safety leadership. Brittany Sakata, Esq.
Brittany_Sakata_smallBrittany Sakata is general counsel for the American Staffing Association (ASA). She is a former labor and employment litigator who advises ASA members on a broad range of legal matters, including EEO and wage and hour laws, immigration/I-9, OSHA and paid leave issues. Sakata is principal ASA liaison to the formal ASA/OSHA temporary worker safety alliance, Office of Disability Employment Policy alliance, and ASA's Legal/Legislative and Employee Safety committees. Sakata graduated from George Mason University and earned a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University. Brittany's linkedin.

Lauren Menger-Ogle, Ph.D.
Lauren Menger-Ogle is a contractor with National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Her research focuses on understanding and promoting occupational safety and health among workers who experience a high burden of work-related injuries and illnesses, particularly young and contingent workers. She is co-coordinator of the NIOSH Services Sector Program and a co-chair of the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) Services Sector Council. Menger-Ogle is also coordinator of the NIOSH Safe•Skilled•Ready Workforce Program, which aims to ensure that all workers have the foundational knowledge and skills needed to stay safety and healthy at work. Lauren Bauerschmidt, CSP
Lauren_Bauerschmidt_smallBauerschmidt is a senior manager of standards and technical services at ASSP, focusing on standards related to metrics, fall protection and risk management. Before joining ASSP, she worked at Abbott Laboratories with a concentration on ergonomics in manufacturing. Bauerschmidt holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
