When you have technical questions in the future, you can reach out to this vast network to find answers. Through the Community, you have access to the Society’s membership, which can help answer your technical questions and provide you with advice in difficult situations. Here are a few examples ways that members have utilized this resource:
- James Leonard sought app or device recommendations to improve his company’s current lone worker safety program. He received 10 responses from members with suggestions and specific technology that provides quick and easy check-ins, offers man-down options and emergency alerts.
- Krista Kolaz asked the Community for a training matrix template for safety and other required internal trainings. Within a few days, she received five different templates from other members and advice on how to use them. Another visitor replied to the thread that these templates would also help him in his new safety position.
- New member Kevin Cady was tasked with starting a safety department and he turned to the ASSP Community for examples of safety dashboards and scorecards, as well as key performance indicators to reference while developing his program. He received 10 replies from members with advice and tips on how to develop a safety department.
