OSHA COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard: What an OSH Professional Needs to Know

Dec 15, 2021

On Nov. 4, 2021, OSHA issued a new COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS). The ETS requires large employers (100 or more employees) to develop, implement and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, with an exception for employers that instead adopt a policy requiring employees to elect either to get vaccinated or to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at work. Additional components of the ETS include paid leave to receive the vaccine and for recovery from side-effects. Gain insight from our expert panel as they discuss key provisions of the ETS, explain various legal considerations and outline the steps occupational safety and health professionals can take to effectively implement the rule in the workplace. Participate in the Q&A session following the presentation.

  • Review scope and timeline of ETS including covered employers and employees
