    A significant standard was approved after five years in the making – ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, spearheaded by ISO with support from ASSE. The first-of-its-kind global consensus model provides a framework that can reduce workplace risks and improve business outcomes worldwide.

    Safety professionals must act fast to save on registration for one of the nation’s premier occupational safety and health education events. ASSE will end regular registration for SeminarFest 2018 on Jan. 22. Higher fees will apply to late registrants of the immersive learning experience held Feb. 1-8 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.

  • ASSE prepared to help reverse trend of fatal workplace injuries

    ASSE pledges to work with its extensive network of members and stakeholders to help address fatal occupational injuries that increased for the third straight year according to newly released data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. There were 5,190 workplace fatalities in 2016, up 7 percent from 2015.
  • Registration opens for ASSE’s Safety 2018 in San Antonio

    Registration is open for ASSE’s Safety 2018 PDC in San Antonio. The nation's largest conference for occupational safety and health professionals – expected to draw more than 8,000 people from 40 countries – takes place June 3-6 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center along the San Antonio River Walk.​
