  • New Academic and Research Council to Advance Safety and Health Profession

    Jul 17, 2018
    ASSP has created the Council on Academic Affairs and Research, its first new council in 20 years. Among its objectives, the new council will develop and maintain a research agenda that supports the OSH profession, and encourage the translation of research to practice. The group will also work to bring more students into the profession.
  • ASSP Introduces Jennifer McNelly as New Executive Director

    Jul 16, 2018
    ASSP will welcome Jennifer McNelly as its new executive director on Aug. 16. She was introduced to staff July 16 at ASSP headquarters and will become the Society’s eighth executive director since ASSP was founded in 1911. McNelly brings 30 years of association, government, regulatory and business experience.
