Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, part of the Star Valley Chapter, is home to our latest student section. The school's residential industrial and systems engineering program offers a B.S in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Building on experience and support provided by faculty advisor Diana Jo Schwerha, Ph.D., the section’s officers took the lead in building the section and recruiting the members needed to form the section.

“We have a focus on servant leadership,” Schwerha says. “I would like to weave those leadership skills into our academic training so that our students enter the workforce prepared for both the technical and leadership challenges ahead of them.”
