ISO 45003: Impact on Safety Professionals

ISO 45003:2021, Occupational Health and Safety Management — Psychological Health and Safety at Work — Guidelines for Managing Psychosocial Risks, provides guidelines to help organizations and safety professionals more effectively identify and address psychological hazards in the workplace. The standard aims to help organizations of all sizes and in all sectors prevent work-related injury and ill health and promote well-being at work. kenneth_clayman Ken Clayman is leader of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to Technical Committee (TC) 283, which oversees ISO 45001. He also is the U.S. delegate to ISO/CASCO Joint Working Group 48 for ISO 17021-10 regarding auditing occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) and competence of OHSMS auditors. Clayman is a certified auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001, and a qualified OHSAS 18001 auditor.
