PARK RIDGE, IL — The SafetyFOCUS 2022 immersive education experience from the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) helps occupational safety and health professionals advance their careers and keep workers safe in all industries. But the opportunity to secure a discounted rate concludes next week when early bird registration ends Thursday, Jan. 20.
The 10-day event will take place Feb. 21 to March 4, featuring in-person and online components for the first time. During the first week, courses will be presented in-person in Phoenix and online in ASSP’s Live Virtual Classroom. Courses held the second week will only be online.
SafetyFOCUS is ASSP’s second-largest annual education event, offering more than 65 occupational safety and health courses in full- and half-day formats on a broad range of topics presented by world-class experts. The areas of focus include business and leadership skills, certification preparation, fall protection, risk assessment and management, and safety management systems.
Attendees can earn up to 7 continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain a range of professional certifications while expanding their networks and absorbing relevant information and practical guidance they can immediately implement to help their organizations prevent worker injuries, illnesses and fatalities.
On-site safety and health protocols require attendees in Phoenix to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and wear a face covering when in the training facility. ASSP will announce the vaccine verification process when details are finalized. An attendee is considered fully vaccinated when their final dose is received at least two weeks before the start date of their course. In addition, ASSP will promote healthy habits at the training facility such as consistent handwashing, physical distancing and the use of hand sanitizer.
Safety and health professionals should register online to get the best available rate for SafetyFOCUS 2022. Groups from the same company can save even more by contacting ASSP’s Nancy O’Toole at 847.768.3466 or notoole@assp.org.
