William VandeSande, MAEd, master instructor with Veriforce, has a 50-year career that spans multiple industries from theater and entertainment to safety consulting and employee training. With a masters in adult education distance learning and a graduate certificate in occupational health and safety, he creates branded and customized blended learning packages for EHS.

Josh Ortega, Vice President, Safety, Sustainability and Procurement, Veriforce
Josh Ortega, B.S., B.B.A., has more than 25 years of experience in mining, oil and gas production, drilling, well interventions and construction, both internationally and across the U.S. In his role with Veriforce, Ortega works collaboratively with industry partners to enhance safety and bring workers home safe. Prior to joining Veriforce, Ortega was with BHP for 18 years, working in operations, projects, human resources, EHS and community, with a primary focus on contractor management. He serves on several industry boards and committees, including as co-chair of ANSI/ASSP Z390.1.
