Chapter Website Data Storage Limits

Aug 08, 2022

Chapter and region leaders should review their website each year to remove and archive dated items no longer relevant to your members. In addition to helping you adhere to the storage allowed by your web hosting agreement, this activity helps your members find the information they need more easily and will help improve search engine ranking for your site.

Our chapter web hosting package includes 1 GB of storage. Many chapters and regions will soon reach or exceed their storage limits. Please take action by Sept. 30, 2022.

Reducing your website storage usage is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Download files you want to archive and save them to your Google Drive account.
  2. Remove any video files and upload them to your YouTube account. Please note: ASSP's server is not optimized for media playback. For support embedding YouTube videos on your website, please contact our chapter web services team.
  3. Remove outdated items from your pages. To do this, go to the Media >> Library in the left-hand column of your dashboard and delete the files you have removed from your pages.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2022, ASSP will begin reviewing sites and removing older files from those that have met or exceeded their storage capacity.

If you have any questions, please contact our chapter web services team.
