ASSP member Barbara J. Dawson, M.S., CSP, CIH, has been selected to serve as the new member-at-large for the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation's (AIHF) board of trustees. AIHF aims to advance the industrial hygiene profession by awarding scholarships for funding education and professional development. Dawson is a professional member of our Delmarva Chapter and a member of the Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty.

"We are thrilled that Barbara J. Dawson will be serving as an AIHF trustee," says AIHA president Kathy Murphy. "Dawson is a great supporter of the foundation, students and the industrial hygiene profession. She is a welcome addition to the foundation board, and we look forward to working with her."

Dawson is the global occupational health competency leader at DuPont. She served as AIHA president in 2014.
