Members of the Central Florida Chapter who are on the Walt Disney World Safety Services Team hosted members of our Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Student Section for a technical tour of Disney's horticulture and distribution services operations. Gabbie Pace, who chairs the chapter's Emerging Professional group, joined them for the tour. According to the students, key learnings related to identifying and mitigating material handling and struck-by hazards.

Student Section President Matthew Lawson is a former Walt Disney World professional intern who will be rejoining the Disney Worldwide Safety Team this fall for a second professional internship. This is the second time ERAU Student Section members have participated in a Walt Disney World on-site technical tour and both groups look forward to continued partnership.
