Sheldon Primus, a member of our South Florida Chapter, Consultants Practice Specialty and Blacks in Safety Excellence Common Interest Group, has produced more than 10 episodes of his podcast, Safety Consultant Podcast. According to the show’s website, it provides a weekly guide to starting or growing a profitable OSH consulting business.

The show covers topics such as choosing a name that will resonate with your target market, securing a domain, how to create a consultant biography, how to create an effective proposal, and navigating the OSHA website to vet clients and obtain resources for training. Primus interviews guests on the show to share their expert opinions and experiences in the OSH profession. In a recent episode, Primus’s show featured Safety FM's Jay Allen, a member of our Central Florida Chapter and Transportation, Risk Management/Insurance, Public Sector, Management and Consultants practice specialties, who discussed his path to safety, tips for consulting and general philosophies of safety and health in the workplace.
