My vision for the Region VIII Area Director position is to support the leadership teams throughout the area, providing them with the tools and best practices necessary to achieve greater success. I aim to facilitate not only the growth and development of leadership within the area but also to strengthen the support that chapters offer to their members. I am committed to learning from each and every one of you, as continuous learning is vital for our collective growth. I also plan to engage with other Area Directors, seeking out their best practices and introducing them to our region to enhance our effectiveness. Looking ahead, I envision increased member recognition through both formal and informal awards, fostering a culture where leaders are motivated to contribute at various levels within ASSP. I aspire to cultivate a membership that deeply values the benefits of ASSP, recognizing its impact on their professional lives. I am eager for the opportunity to serve, listen, and collaborate with you all. Together, we can achieve remarkable progress and elevate the standards of our profession.
